As an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta, Samir’s journey in finance and media has been nothing short of remarkable. Having held senior positions at esteemed institutions like ABN AMRO, Deutsche Bank, and the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) across London, Tokyo, and Singapore, he possesses a unique global perspective that sets CliQ India apart. Beyond his corporate accomplishments, Samir Kumar’s commitment to public service led him to serve the nation as the Founding Head of Prasar Bharati News Services & Digital Platform (PBNS), where he played a pivotal role in shaping India’s public broadcaster. Additionally, as the former CEO of Hindusthan Samachar News Agency, he contributed significantly to credible journalism in the country. Further, he has been volunteering for youth empowerment through workshops & trainings across the country.

This necessitates a thoughtful approach from all quarters, including media leaders to individual families, in scrutinizing the information disseminated, especially to the younger generation who are at the forefront of shaping this New India.

India has demonstrated unwavering commitment to global welfare through its generous distribution of COVID-19 vaccines, timely rescue missions from conflict-affected regions, and essential medicine supplies to nations in need. Concurrently, India’s diplomatic endeavors have significantly bolstered its international standing, amplifying its voice and visibility on the world stage. This dual approach of extending a helping hand while strategically enhancing diplomatic relations exemplifies India’s evolving role as a leader committed to fostering global unity and understanding. These actions are central to New India’s vision, highlighting the need for compassionate leadership and stronger global connections moving forward.
